So behind in posting that I got ahead of myself. Before we left we took some fishing lessons. It was great! Learned about the local fish and how to fish them (def. dif than salmon and halibut), but most importantly, I never had anyone sit me down and explain tackle in a systematic manner. I knew most of it, but to have a dedicated 1.5 hours in a concentrated organized manner, wow!
Abby caught so many fish that day it was ridiculous.
The New Ulm Are Sport Fishermen even gave the kids new poles :)
We also let lil' Peepers go. She is a free duck, I hope. She couldn't quite fly when we released her, but she was fast and could dive. I hope she lives a happy little duck life.
